Moon Active values execution upon data driven decisions. The marketing analytics team embodies this through supporting overall user acquisition activities while developing fast, scalable, and impactful data analytics products to maximize marketing ROI.

As a member of the marketing analytics team, you will drive results through scalable data products in the landscape of mobile marketing.

  • Partner closely with the head marketing and marketers to identify impactful business and marketing problems and translate them into structured analyses, actionable insights, and (in many cases) data products
  • Use exploratory data analysis techniques to identify meaningful relationships, patterns, or trends from complex data sets.
  • Examine marketing performance and user conversion funnel data to identify opportunities to improve ROI
  • Design experiments to test the validity of hypotheses around user acquisition strategy and user behavior
  • Provide statistical and modeling guidance to fellow marketers and help them apply statistical rigor to their analyses and business recommendations
Requirements


  • BA in statistics, applied math, engineering, or other quantitative discipline (MA – an advantage)
  • At least 3+ years work experience analyzing large datasets in an analytics or product centric role
  • Strong proficient with SQL and experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, d3, etc
  • High-level analytical skills, deep toolkit of statistical techniques and know how to pick the appropriate tool for the challenge at hand
  • Experience in marketing analytics or a digital/performance marketing role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient with R, Matlab, or other statistical packages and familiar with Python or other scripting languages-An advantage
