Moon Active, a Tel Aviv based mobile games startup with millions of players worldwide is looking for an experienced and super talented Backend TL to Join our awesome team. You will work in an energetic startup environment following Agile concepts and methodologies. As a backend/core leader you will lead an amazing team of energized, brilliant and creative engineers, working on unique challenges of scale and performance while keeping a fast pace of deliveries.

 Responsibilities

  • Build and Lead the MoonActive core team.
  • Responsible for people professional and personal growth & well being.
  • Building the teams and product roadmap - Design and leverage the backend infrastructure and security aspects.
  • Responsible for teams deliveries.
  • Responsible (together with the team members) for the MoonActive platform, its up-time, architecture & scale.
  • Take major part in our strategic growth as R&D team - technology and process wise.
  • Work alongside architects, DevOps and other tech leads in game teams.
Requirements
  • 5+ years experience of application design and development.
  • 2+ years R&D management position.
  • 1+ years of Node.js experience
  • People person.
  • Great communication skills with tech and non-tech alike.
  • Strong understanding and hands-on experience of Backend technologies and architecture.8
  • Hands-on experience with object oriented programing, high-scale backend development in either Node.js/Java/C#/Python/Go.
  • Experience with NoSQL and key value DB’s (e.g Redis).
  • Experience in working with cloud-based architectures and AWS specifically.
  • Ability to carry requirements from early phase to full implementation.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.

Bonus

  • Experience working in an early-stage startup company and more mature one.
  • Devops and infra-oriented experience.
